1. What data we collect and why
a) Contact and quote-request data
When you submit the quote form on this site, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (if provided — optional)
- Your selected service interest
- Your project description and any other information you include in the brief
- Your budget indication (if provided — optional)
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — processing necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract; and GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Purpose: To review your brief and send you a quote. We do not use this data for any other purpose without your consent.
b) Analytics data (optional — subject to your cookie consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this website. GA4 collects anonymised usage data: pages visited, session duration, device type, general geographic region, and similar aggregate metrics. We have enabled IP anonymisation — your full IP address is never stored by Google Analytics on our behalf.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) — your explicit consent, given via the cookie-consent banner.
GA4 is only loaded and operational after you have actively accepted analytics cookies. If you decline or do not accept, GA4 does not load.
Google LLC is the data processor for GA4. Google's privacy policy is available at: policies.google.com/privacy
c) Technical data
Our hosting server logs standard technical data (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. This data is not linked to your identity, is not used for marketing, and is retained for a maximum of 30 days.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
2. How long we keep your data
| Data type | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Quote-request data | 3 years from the date of the request, or for the duration of any resulting business relationship plus 1 year |
| GA4 analytics (aggregated) | 14 months (Google's default retention) |
| Server logs | 30 days |
| Cookie-consent records | 12 months |
3. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
We share data only with:
- Resend (email delivery service): Your quote-request data is transmitted to our email inbox via Resend's API. Resend processes this data as a data processor on our behalf.
- Google LLC (GA4): Aggregated analytics data — only if you have consented to analytics cookies.
- Competent authorities: If required by law or to comply with a legal obligation under Spanish or EU law.
4. Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- Correct inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Erase your data (Art. 17), subject to legal retention obligations
- Restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances (Art. 18)
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (Art. 7(3))
- Data portability where processing is automated and based on consent or contract (Art. 20)
- Lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), at aepd.es
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at: legal@digitalpixelvault.com
We will respond within one month of receiving your request, as required by GDPR Art. 12.
5. Cookies
We use cookies for two purposes:
- Essential cookies — session management, security, and storing your cookie-consent preference. These are necessary for the site to function and cannot be turned off.
- Analytics cookies (optional) — Google Analytics 4, only with your consent.
Full details of the cookies we use are in our Cookie Policy.
6. International transfers
Google Analytics 4 involves the transfer of data to Google LLC, which may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Google relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and its EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification as the legal basis for such transfers.
Resend is a US-based service. We have a Data Processing Agreement with Resend covering GDPR-compliant data transfers.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. These include HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, HTTP denial of internal application files, and server-side input validation on all forms.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we update the "last updated" date at the top of the page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
